Before you can start tracking your emissions, you need to set up your first facility. This section will guide you through the simple steps to create and manage your facility in Emens, ensuring you're ready to begin tracking your carbon data.

The My Facilities Section

This is where you’ll manage all your facilities, and it’s the first step in organizing your emission data. When created, your facility will show up here and you can always access and edit its information.

Adding Facility

Now click on Add New Facility. You’ll be prompted to fill in key details, including the facility’s name, address, type, and other important information, such as the number of employees and the facility’s area.

You will be asked to enter the following information:

• Facility Name - Give your facility a clear and descriptive name

  
  

• Facility Type - Choose the type of facility (e.g., factory, office, etc.) If not sure which type to choose, consult with your coordinator or contact our support.

  
  

• Location - Provide the address of your facility to accurately track its carbon footprint. Its very important that your facility location is the same as in the utility bills. If your adress varies across utility bills, you can add alternative addresses.

  
  

• Additional Information - Input details like the number of employees and the size of the facility, which can help improve the accuracy of your emissions calculations.

After entering all the relevant details, click Save. Your facility is now set up and ready to receive emissions data. You can always return to this section later if you need to edit or update any facility information.
